  • Shades of Spring 2012, Art League of Germantown spring show at BlackRock Arts Center, Germantown, MD.<br /> <br /> This photograph consists of six rectilinear, 90° field of view, images that can be wrapped around a cube. Unlike its sister cube, this one has zenith and nadir at the cube corners. I have made a 4" cube out of these and may scale up to making 8"-10" cubes, perhaps larger. Stitched from 13 different shots. <br /> <br /> Over several days, I am posting on my daily photos gallery different projections from this single set of pictures, illustrating the wide range of perspectives that one can have from a single vantage point.<br /> <br /> Daily Photo: 5/8/2012

  • Harper's Ferry, WV, from Maryland Heights<br /> <br /> This is a stitched HDR panorama with rectilinear mapping. C&O Canal follows the Potomac River down below. The Potomac is flowing to the left and the Shenandoah River joins it in the middle of the photograph. This is 6155x16244 pixels, multiple shots taken with a 17 mm (of a 17-85 mm zoom) lens. If you were to zoom in, you can see the people walking in the town.<br /> <br /> Been away from the Dailies for awhile, but this is the Daily Photo for 3/21/2012.
