  • Mixed Drink and Aria I This photo is part of a series <a href="http://tagermer.smugmug.com/Art/Champagne-Glasses-with-Dye">Mixed Drinks - Dye and Water</a> that I have been working on. This new addition expands it by adding a background (a hint of my other passion). The "Aria" refers to the Aria of the Goldberg Variations by J.S. Bach.

  • An elf has been in the display case.<br /> <br /> I found this hat in the cabinet this morning and had to get a shot when I returned from work and it was dark.
  • Styrofoam genome<br /> <br /> This was taken at the USA Science and Engineering Festival in Washington DC on Oct. 24, 2010. It is supposed to represent a strand of DNA.
  • This was taken at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk (Santa Cruz, CA). A bit of Photoshop, mostly a glowing edges effect, was performed on the image.

    Fascinating! I really, really, really like this series! I did a series called Glass Appeal using clear glass and beads, sugar, honey, and other stuff that was pretty abstract color. I guess that's why this appeals to me so much too. Really great colors here! Besides standing very well on their own, I see the potential to use these as background frames or texture overlays for other shots too.
